Firstly, I would like to apologise if this review is all over the place. Actually, I read this book since last year and it has such as a profound affect one me, that I still remember ever...and I mean EVER exact detail.

And before we continue I would like to say shout to Wendy Higgins for writing this book it was so good that I read the other three books. *Beautiful*

Summary according to Goodreads:

Embrace the Forbidden

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?
This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.
Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself an in explicable pull toward danger, but it isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?
                          *******Spoilers Included*******

Now I must say this summary is on point!!

In the beginning of the book, Anna is stereotyped as the average girl but in truth and in fact she's the complete opposite. And for me, the fact that action starts to happen immediately in setting of the party was spot on. Some authors may drag on for several pages until action is introduced by not Wendy.

Did I mention she possess powers......she does, she can see and feel peoples emotions. Any who, she attends the concert and encounters Kaidan Rowe (drummer) who has red bust from his chest.       *Right there people that's a sign red= lust.*
Now, at times like these I wish fictional characters were real, not all of them but definitely him
*yummy*

An they both encounter love at first sight well technically, strong sexual attraction at first sight.
Cause Kaidan doesn't do love, he is the son of the Duke of Lust.
Who would not be sexually attracted.

Secondly, I love how Wendy personified the seven deadly sin as Dukes. It made it more interesting, with their sons and daughters.
Now we all can clearly see Anna ain't human, what hormone raging teenage would not jump his bones.
Next, Anna and I have two different personalities but for me she was so goody too shoes it's not funny. But then it adds interesting contrast, when the protagonists personalities clash and they can't even be in the same room.
I mean I know what a road trip is like but honey I need the Anna Whitt road trip experience. Damn!
Steamy!!!

*I don't need to say more.....really that sums it all up.*

Lastly, to find out what I am talking about go and pick the book.
*not sponsored to say this...sigh*
Personally, I like that as the story evolved the characters also evolved not only in this book, but in the entire series. Everything wasn't about sex, underage drinking and lust. During certain parts of the book, love slowly blossomed under the circumstances. And Anna's pink aura confirms this fact and in my opinion Kaidan's decision to be selfless( not taking her virginity) for probably the only person; confirms his love for her in my opinion. And let us please remember he's son of the Duke of Lust....ok, taking her virginity  is as easy as pie even like a second nature to him.

But Kaidan's final decision left me in tears and a major cliff hanger. She is not even given the tine of day for an explanation but a note. *Wow!*

"We have to face difficulties to find out what our true strengths are. How we come back from failure is a very valuable test."
